Migration in Rise of Kingdoms (2026): Teleport to Another Server — Requirements and Passport Costs
Information is current as of August 2026.
Migration (immigration) is the transfer of your character with all its progress to another server (kingdom) in Rise of Kingdoms. The feature appeared in April 2019, and the rules have been seriously reworked several times since: the latest major update came out in March 2026 and tightened the age restrictions for cross-season moves. This guide covers the current requirements, exact passport page costs, the new season rules and tricks to save money.
How Migration Differs from the Beginner Teleport
Don't confuse the two mechanics. The beginner teleport is only available below City Hall level 8 and during the first days of the game — it moves your city to a young kingdom for free. Migration is a full relocation of a developed account using passport pages, keeping your commanders, technologies, troops, VIP level and inventory. This article is about the latter.
Migration Requirements
For the "Immigrate" button to become active, ALL of these conditions must be met:
- City Hall level 16 or higher.
- Enough passport pages (the number depends on your power — see the table below). You can buy them in the alliance shop for individual credits (600,000 credits per page) or in the "New World" bundle for real money.

- You are not in an alliance — you must leave your alliance before moving.
- All troops and scouts are in the city, all march queues are empty.
- Your city and troops are not in battle, not gathering and not under attack.
- Open resources do not exceed the protected storehouse capacity. Anything above the limit burns during the flight — it's better to spend the excess, pour it into technologies or give it to clanmates.
- The destination kingdom is open for immigration and suits you by season, age and power cap.
- 30 days have passed since your previous migration (cooldown).
How Much Migration Costs: The Passport Table
The number of passport pages depends on your character's displayed power at the moment you confirm the transfer. One page in the alliance shop costs 600,000 individual credits (a leader or officer needs to spend 100,000 alliance credits to restock the item):
| Power | Passports | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| 0–10M | 1 | 600,000 |
| 10–15M | 2 | 1,200,000 |
| 15–20M | 3 | 1,800,000 |
| 20–25M | 4 | 2,400,000 |
| 25–30M | 6 | 3,600,000 |
| 30–35M | 9 | 5,400,000 |
| 35–40M | 12 | 7,200,000 |
| 40–45M | 15 | 9,000,000 |
| 45–50M | 20 | 12,000,000 |
| 50–55M | 25 | 15,000,000 |
| 55–60M | 30 | 18,000,000 |
| 60–65M | 35 | 21,000,000 |
| 65–70M | 40 | 24,000,000 |
| 70–75M | 45 | 27,000,000 |
| 75–80M | 50 | 30,000,000 |
| 80–85M | 55 | 33,000,000 |
| 85–90M | 60 | 36,000,000 |
| 90–95M | 65 | 39,000,000 |
| 95–100M | 70 | 42,000,000 |
| 100M+ | 75 | 45,000,000 |
Example: a character with 27M power falls into the 25–30M bracket and pays 6 passports (3.6M credits). Always check the final number on the immigration screen of the chosen kingdom — power is recalculated at the moment of transfer.
Kingdom Restrictions: Seasons, Age and Power Caps
Since the March 24, 2026 update, strict "age windows" apply: your character must not be older than the destination kingdom by more than 80 days when moving into Season 2 (KvK2), 120 days for Season 3 (KvK3) and 150 days for the first Season of Conquest. Young kingdoms are closed to regular immigration until the end of Season 1.
In addition:
- The base power cap for cross-season immigration is 85M, but the kingdom's king can set a lower threshold (check the Immigration Power Cap field on the kingdom screen). "Rising" kingdoms accept only up to 10M power; imperium kingdoms — 15/25/35M depending on the season.
- Kingdoms in KvK Seasons 2 and 3 accept a maximum of 30 migrants per season — the quota can run out.
- A cross-season move requires a refundable deposit of 20,000 gems: it's returned after migration, but burns if you fail to move before your admission window expires.
- You cannot migrate to a kingdom that is currently fighting in the Lost Kingdom (KvK) — wait for the season to end or for a special post-season window inside your own LK.
- The kingdom's management may require application approval — before buying passports, write to the king or an R4 of the accepting alliance.
On the kingdom info screen you can see its status (Developed — accepting migrants), the power cap and the Immigrate button. Tap "View" to check the exact migration cost for your account.
How to Migrate: Step by Step

- Zoom the map all the way out and tap the globe icon in the corner — the list of all kingdoms will open.
- Find the kingdom you need (you can enter its number in the search) and open its page.
- Check the status, power cap, quota and cost in passports. Confirm with the king/leaders if approval is required.
- Leave your alliance, recall all marches, spend resources above the storehouse limit.
- Tap Immigrate and confirm. The game will reload — you'll appear in a random province of the new kingdom.
What Carries Over and What Is Lost
Kept: commanders and their progress, equipment, technologies, buildings, VIP level, troops, speedups, gems, all inventory items (including unopened resource packs!).
Lost: open resources above the storehouse limit, all points in current events (reset to zero), alliance membership, map position. After the move — a 30-day cooldown until the next migration.
How to Reduce the Migration Cost
- A full hospital. Wounded troops in the hospital lower your displayed power and can drop you into a cheaper passport bracket. Migrating with a full hospital is not forbidden — the main thing is that field marches return to the city. After arrival, heal your troops before heading into battle.
- Don't gain power before the move. If you're 1–2M away from the next price tier, postpone troop training, completing technologies and building upgrades until after arrival.
- Dismiss excess T4/T5 siege units. They give a lot of power but little use in everyday play — sometimes it's easier to retrain them at the new place than to overpay 3–6 passports.
- Store resources as items. Unopened resource packs in your inventory don't burn — the storehouse limit only applies to "opened" resources.

Typical Migrant Mistakes
- Bought passports and bundles without agreeing the move with the destination kingdom — and the quota is already closed or the power cap lowered.
- Relying on the outdated "server is 120 days old" rule — in 2026, what matters is the season status and the 80/120/150-day age windows.
- Forgot to leave the alliance or recall a scout — the migration button is inactive.
- Flew with resources above the storehouse limit and lost tens of millions of resources.
- Moved "wherever", without an agreement with an alliance, and a month later migrates again, wasting the cooldown and passports for nothing.
What Players Say
According to community feedback (Reddit, forums, 2026 guides), the main advice from experienced migrants is scout the kingdom first, spend passports second. Players recommend studying kingdom statistics through services like rokstats and prokingdoms, writing to the king in advance and asking questions: who's in the top alliances, how KvK rewards are shared, whether there's an internal war. Many confirm the hospital trick works: "filled the hospital — saved 3 passports". A common beginner complaint is the burned 20,000-gem deposit because they didn't move before the admission window closed. And almost everyone agrees: migrate only with a concrete goal (friends, a strong alliance, a lively kingdom), not "out of boredom" — a repeat move will cost you dearly in both credits and time.
