How to use the picker

Step 1 — platform: choose where you'll play: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2 or phone. If you own several, pick the one at hand.
Step 2 — genre: action, RPG, strategy, shooter, horror, indie experiments or something family-friendly. Undecided — hit "Surprise me".
Step 3 — mood: relax, challenge, story or co-op with friends. The picker also factors session length: there are "one evening" and "one month" picks.

The picker returns three options with short descriptions — usually one big game, one mid-size and one "hidden gem". Didn't like it? Restart and try another mood.

A gamer library — endless choice

How not to drown in your library: three lifehacks

Rule of three. Never start more than three games at once: one big, one mid-size, one "20-minute" game. Otherwise everything gets abandoned.
Honest 30-minute test. If a game hasn't hooked you in half an hour — close it without guilt. There are too many storefronts to endure.
Alternate the pace. After a 60+ hour RPG, take something short and mechanical — the brain rests, the fun doesn't drop.

FAQ

The picker returned a game I don't own. What now? Check subscriptions: Game Pass (Xbox/PC), PS Plus Extra (PlayStation), Apple Arcade (iOS) — most recommendations are there. If it's nowhere — restart the picker for an alternative.

Can I pick several platforms at once? The picker is tuned for one choice to keep recommendations sharp. If you own several devices — run it twice with different platforms and compare.

Are the lists updated? Yes, we add new releases (like Throne and Liberty or Marvel's Wolverine) as they launch. Watch the All Games section.

Are there picks for weak PCs? Yes: choose "PC" and the "indie" genre — most indie games run on integrated graphics. Classics: Hollow Knight, Stardew Valley, Slay the Spire, Dead Cells.
