Sensibility calculator: transfer mouse sensitivity between CS2, Valorant, Apex and other games
You change the game, and the usual sensation “breaks”: in Valorant the mouse flies, in CS2 it crawls. The fact is that the sensitivity scales of games are different, and the sensitivity cannot be transferred “one to one”. Our sensitivity calculator solves this: you enter your sensitivity from one game and get the exact equivalent for all the others. Works for CS2, Valorant, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone and Overwatch 2 .
1. Your settings
2. Your 360° turn
3. The same sensation in other games
| Game | Sensa | cm/360 |
|---|
How does this work
The calculator translates the sensitivity through the physical rotation of the mouse - cm/360 (how many centimeters of the mouse are needed to fully rotate the camera). This is the only fair way to transfer sensa between games, because the scales are different for everyone: 1.0 sensa in CS2 and 1.0 in Valorant are completely different speeds. Mouse DPI is also important for transfer - it is set once and is involved in all calculations.
Sensa character: less than 30 cm/360 - high (for playing “from the wrist”), 30–55 cm - medium (the most popular among pro players), more than 55 cm - low (control “from the elbow”).
Important for Valorant: in Windows settings, disable “Increased pointer accuracy”, and in the game, leave the scope multiplier (Scoped Sensitivity) = 1, unless you specifically changed it.
How to use the calculator
- Specify the DPI of the mouse - see in the proprietary software (Logitech G Hub, Razer Synapse, etc.) or on the DPI switch button. The most popular values: 400, 800, 1600.
- Select the game you are transferring from and enter the current sense.
- The table below will show the equivalents for all supported games - click “copy” and paste the value into the settings.
What is cm/360 and why is it important?
cm/360 is the physical distance the mouse travels across the mousepad to fully rotate the camera. This is the universal “currency” of sense: regardless of the game and its internal scale, the same cm/360 gives the same feeling from the mouse. The calculator translates everything through it.
- less than 30 cm/360 – high sensitivity, play “from the wrist”;
- 30–55 cm/360 – average, the golden mean for most pro players;
- more than 55 cm/360 - low, control “from the elbow”, you need a large mat.
eDPI - effective DPI
eDPI = DPI of mouse × in-game sensor. It is convenient to compare settings with other players within the same game: for example, CS2 snipers have a typical eDPI of 800-1200, aggressive reefers have 1000-1600.
Subtleties by game
- Valorant: Disable "Enhanced Pointer Precision" in Windows, otherwise the calculation will float. Leave the sight sense multiplier (Scoped) at 1.0.
- Fortnite: in the game the sense is set with a percentage slider - enter exactly the percentage (10 = 10%).
- CS2 and Apex: the games have the same source engine (Source), so the sense transfer is 1:1 - the calculator takes this into account.
- Warzone and Overwatch 2: Both games have the same scale, the values are the same.
