Subedei is a legendary commander in Rise of Kingdoms (specializing in “Cavalry,” “Mobility,” and “Conquest”). Genghis Khan’s greatest general, who conquered 32 peoples, is a cavalry commander specializing in strategic raids: speed, damage to garrisons, and the ability to cover vast territories.

Historical Background

Subedei was the chief commander of the Mongol Empire, having conquered China, Persia, Rus’, and Hungary. Military historians call his raid through the Caucasus and the Kipchak Steppe (1220–1223) the greatest cavalry operation of all time.
