Guan Yu- Legendary Commander in Rise of Kingdoms (Infantry, Conquest, and Skill specializations). One of the pillars of the infantry meta: fan damage on three targets, powerful buffs in combat and synergy with Leonid. The basis of the infantry rallies and field marches of the Season of Conquest.
Historical background
Guan Yu was a general from the Three Kingdoms era, called the "God of War". His loyalty and valor made him a symbol of Chinese culture: temples of Guan Yu stand throughout East Asia.

The community is unanimous: “Guan Yu + Leonid is an infantry meta.” Players note that without Leonid, Guan Yu is good, but not great. A common tip is to not spray the statues until you have collected both halves of the bundle.

Guan Yu is strong in focus fire: hit where the alliance hits - spreading damage punishes the crowd. The garrison is average, its place is attack. Download after you have assembled the base: Richard/Alexander is more useful for a beginner.
