Gajah Mada- Legendary Commander in Rise of Kingdoms (Engineering specialization). The Prime Minister of Majapahit, who took the famous Palapa Oath, is a defensive engineering commander: his fortifications last longer and the siege proceeds faster.

Historical background

Gajah Mada was the 14th-century Mahapatih (premier) of the Majapahit Empire who unified Nusantara. He swore not to eat spices (the Palapa oath) until he conquered all the islands - and he almost fulfilled his oath.
