Choi Young- Legendary commander in Rise of Kingdoms (Archers, Garrison and Defense specializations). The Korean commander of the Goryeo era is a rare defensive archer: he strengthens the garrison with archers and punishes the besiegers with long-range fire.

Historical background

Choi Young is a 14th century Goryeo general, hero of the wars with Japanese pirates and the Red Turbans. Became a symbol of honor for the Korean army; his motto “look at gold as a stone” is known to every Korean.

Defenders note: the archer garrison with Choi Yong “bites” more than usual. In the field it is almost invisible - and rightly so. Advice: download if your role is to defend objects.

Fill its garrison with pure archers - the buffs are targeted. Against cavalry rallies it is inferior to infantry garrisons, and against mixed rallies it is superior.
