“Golden Kingdom” in Rise of Kingdoms October 28–30: 20-level dungeon guide

From October 28 to 30, Rise of Kingdoms hosts the Golden Kingdom event, a temporary dungeon where rulers go through 20 levels with bosses on each floor. Every four levels open a checkpoint with a golden chest and valuable trophies. Let's look at how the event works and how to get through all the floors.

How does the Golden Kingdom work?

To access the event, a Town Hall of level 17 or higher is required. The difficulty of the dungeon adapts to the strength of the account: the stronger the player, the tougher the opponents. The levels are covered in fog - you need to dispel it by collecting Karuaku gold, relics and chests. The fog near the guard does not clear until the enemy is defeated: defeating the leader opens the way to the next floor.

There are useful objects on the map. The Healing Shack restores half the health of one army - it is better to spend it on a high-damage unit rather than on a tank. The reinforcement camp allows you to hire an additional soldier, the density disk gives random bonuses, and the rifle tower should be destroyed as quickly as possible: it hits the troops for each explored area of ​​fog.

Battles and commanders

The battles are reminiscent of Sunset Canyon: five of your armies against five enemies, but the opponents are NPCs with a random arrangement. An important feature: the damage received is not replenished between battles, so it is better to avoid unnecessary skirmishes. The last five floors are noticeably more difficult - without powerful tanks it is almost impossible to pass them.

• Tanks: Richard I, Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar - absorb damage from the last floors.
• Area damage: Sun Tzu, Aethelflaed, Li Song Ge - quickly knock out enemy units.
• Support: Joan of Arc strengthens all armies with buffs.

Relics and Blessings

Relics are consumable items that can be found on the map or purchased for Karuaku gold on floors 4, 8, 12, and 16. It's not worth spending them early: save up currency for the 12th and 16th floors, where more powerful options are sold. You can carry up to nine relics at a time—if your bag is full, use old ones to free up space. The Siege relic is especially valuable at the final levels: its effect is cumulative.

Blessings are permanent army improvements within the passage that drop randomly after victories or are found on the map. After each level you are offered a choice of one of three. If you get unsuccessful buffs, it's wise to restart the dungeon - it's worth a try. Please also note that army expansion does not work in the event, but equipment, research, VIP and civilization do.
