Delta formation in Rise of Kingdoms: what is known about the new formation and how to prepare
Lilith Games continues to develop its line of combat formations. According to the official roadmap published on the Rise of Kingdoms VKontakte page, the Delta formation is scheduled for release in November 2026. The first development in this line was “Ticks”, released in August 2026 - now it’s time for the second mechanic of tactical deployment of troops.
What are tunings and why is it important?
Formations are a separate combat mechanic that changes the behavior of units on the march and in battle. Each formation gets its own weapon line with special inscriptions, similar to how the Double Line brought weapons like the Flag and Scroll to the game with unique bonuses. Community players have already appreciated the impact of Pincers on field battles, and the release of Delta is highly likely to shift the current meta.
How to prepare for going out
The developers have not yet disclosed the details of the Delta bonuses, but you can prepare now:
- accumulate materials for forging and reforging weapons - a new construction will almost certainly require a fresh set;
- set aside transmutation stones to transfer characteristics to new items;
- do not waste gems on impulse purchases - related events with rewards usually start on the day of release;
- Keep an eye on in-game announcements: a formation patch is usually rolled out accompanied by a series of events.
According to the authors of riseof.ru, there are less than two weeks left before the update is released, so you should start saving immediately. Lilith will announce the exact release date towards the end of October.
