On September 28-29, 2026, Rise of Kingdoms launches a new iteration of the Land of Mystery event, a mode in which rulers travel to a separate, foggy map, fight guardians, reveal hidden caches, and solve puzzles. The mode regularly returns to the rotation of events, and in one of the previous updates, the developers added new bosses to it and improved the behavior of units. How the mode works
"Land of Mysteries" is a separate exploration map. The player sends his own squad there: the stronger the commanders and troops, the faster it is possible to defeat the guards. The main resource of the mode is march energy: every action on the map spends it, so it is important to move along the route and not wander chaotically.
- Explore the fog. Discovering new areas of the map gives points and often leads to caches.
- Beat guards and bosses. For each defeated enemy, event points and chests with resources and boosts are awarded.
- Solve riddles. There are interactive puzzles on the map - bonus rewards are given for completing them.
- Come in both days. Energy and daily tasks are updated, skipping a day significantly reduces the final result.
Rewards and Tips
For completing the mode, you will be given chests with food, wood, stone and gold, speedups, tomes of knowledge and sculptures of commanders - a classic set for economic events. To collect more, take commanders with damage to neutral targets into your march, fully heal your troops in advance, and do not accumulate energy until the last hour: at the end of the event, the server is often overloaded, and marches are slow.
