From September 21 to 26, 2026, Rise of Kingdoms is hosting a new cycle of the Mightiest Governor (MGE) ranking event. According to the game calendar, the current rotation is labeled "Leadership": the governors of the kingdom compete for six consecutive days to earn points in six consecutive stages.
How does the “Greatest Ruler” work?
MGE is the main periodic event of Rise of Kingdoms. The cycle consists of six stages: training troops, defeating barbarians, collecting resources, increasing power, destroying enemy troops and the final push, which lasts 48 hours. Points for each stage are summed up into an overall rating, and prizes are awarded to sculptures of legendary commanders, gems and speedups. The specific set of rewards depends on the age of the kingdom and the current rotation of commanders.
How to score more points
- Troop training. Start building units in advance and use reserves - points are awarded for each trained warrior, and high levels of units give significantly more points in the same time.
- Gathering resources. Gold brings more points than other resources. Send full marches with gathering commanders and prevent the units from returning to the city before the start of the stage.
- Destroying enemies. The stage decides the final table: replenish resources for treatment in advance and coordinate actions with the alliance.
- The final push. The last 48 hours sum up all your efforts - don’t waste boosts ahead of time and get the missing points in the most profitable category.
Even without getting into the prize zone, the event pays off with rewards for intermediate stages, so even free players shouldn’t skip MGE. The main thing is to log into the game every day and fulfill the conditions of the active stage.
