Rise of Kingdoms: "Ticks" formation update will be released in August - Lilith revealed plans until the end of 2027
The developers of Rise of Kingdoms have clarified the development schedule for the formation system. The official Russian-speaking community of the game on VKontakte published notes for the July “Dialogue with Developers”: Lilith received a lot of feedback from players about plans to update the formations and decided to once again clarify the situation, since some of the points were not stated clearly enough and led to misunderstandings.

Formation update schedule
For the sake of balance on the battlefield - both now and in the future - the plans look like this:
— August 2026: release of the “Ticks” formation update;
— November 2026: release of the Delta formation update;
— no additional updates are planned for the “Wedge”, “Ticks” and “Delta” formations until December 2027.
The developers emphasized that the Developer Dialogue episodes are about ideas and planning directions, and all this will not necessarily be implemented in this form: the final schedule and content effects may be adjusted taking into account the progress of development, testing results and the actual situation on the battlefield. Please wait for the exact details in the game announcements.
How did the players greet it?
Attached to the publication is a survey “Which of the planned system updates are you most looking forward to?” It is curious that the option “I’m glad that there will be no other changes until the end of 2027 (this will maintain balance)” received the most votes - about a third: predictability is more important to players than new systems. The “Ticks” update in August is expected by 22% of voters, and “Delta” in November by about 15%.
