Rise of Kingdoms: "Traces in the Desert" - where to throw the dice on the anniversary
The Rise of Kingdoms anniversary festival is in full swing, and with it, the Desert Tracks event has arrived in the game. Players roll dice, the caravan moves across the map, and rewards are awarded for each square passed. The main prizes are “Anniversary Commander” (10 heads of the selected commander) and chests with legendary material. Let's look at how to get the most out of the event and not lose your gems.
How the event works
- One die moves the caravan 1–4 squares, on average 2.5. You can throw from 1 to 8 dice at a time.
- A reward is awarded for each square passed, not just for the stopping point, so batch throws do not lose anything.
- The first 20 bones are sold at an 80% discount - 200 gems each, then 1000 each. A total of 500 bones are available.
- Unspent dice are converted into 4 Collector Tokens each at the end of the event.
“Login Trophies” work in parallel: 20 “Lucky Treasure” chests bring on average about 10 free dice, 10 legendary sculptures and speedups - that’s about 10 thousand savings gems.
What's on the map
"Anniversary Commander" - a choice from already summoned legendary commanders - is at stages 20 and 75, from stages 100 to 280 (every 20), as well as at stages 320 and 360. Chests with legendary material are scattered until stage 415, magic lamps with random bonuses are scattered at stage 60, 125, 225, 295, 380 and 400. There are 1600 stages in the event, but after the 415th stage only tokens remain on the map.
How much does each level cost?
- Minimum (about 4000 gems): 20 discount dice plus free ones from chests - stage ~75, guaranteed 10 heads and one legendary material.
- Profitable (~10,500): up to stage 90, 20 heads, transmutation crystal, skill reset and army expansions.
- Acceptable (~85,900): up to stage 280, 120 heads and 10 legendary materials - a head comes out to about 370 gems.
- There is no need to go any further: after 415, a head costs about 4000 gems - almost ten times more expensive than on the Wheel of Fortune (~450–470).
Practical advice: if you go beyond the 90th stage, get at least to the 280th - on the 240th, 260th and 280th there are three “Anniversary Commanders” in a row, this is the cheapest section in terms of heads. Buy more dice from the target one at a time: the extra dice at the end turns into only 4 tokens.
Anniversary Store: Spending Procedures
It is profitable to spend collector tokens strictly from top to bottom: a cult crystal (if needed for cult equipment), a transmutation crystal, skill resets, army expansions, then chests with legendary materials and formations, accelerations - and only at the end of the sculpture. The store's second currency, Artist Tokens, comes from the free Carnival of the Arts track and from Login Spoils chests.
