Clash of Divine Isles in Rise of Kingdoms: now gives points for defending against invasions
Update 1.1.12 "Dreams of Phantasma", released in Rise of Kingdoms on September 22, 2026, brought a change to the Clash of Divine Isles event from the Lost Kingdom series: alliances now receive points for successfully defending against invasions, and not just for active attacks.
What has changed
In previous seasons of Clash of Divine Isles, points were awarded primarily for offensive actions, which is why the event rating actually reflected only the offensive activity of alliances. After patch 1.1.12, the scoring system also takes into account defensive successes: a repelled invasion now brings rating points to the union, which significantly changes the balance of power in the season.
Why is this important for players?
- The defensive alliances won. Players who specialize in garrisoning and building defense have received a direct benefit: their contributions are no longer “invisible” for event rankings.
- More flexible distribution of roles. The command can assign part of its personnel to the defense of key points without losing momentum in the alliance competition.
- Fewer mandatory attacks. Defense points reduce pressure on less aggressive alliance members and make participation in the event more comfortable for different playstyles.
Clash of Divine Isles continues to take place as part of the Lost Kingdom Season, and the full list of changes for Patch 1.1.12 has been published in the official patch notes. The developers clarify that the details of events may vary depending on the stage of the season and the configuration of the kingdom.
