"Charon's Lament" is a new legendary city theme in Rise of Kingdoms from patch 1.1.13
On October 30, a preview of the city’s new legendary theme, Dirge of Charon, or “Charon’s Lament” in Russian, was released on the official Rise of Kingdoms channel. The cosmetic set will appear in the game with update 1.1.13 “Unleashed Power”, which is scheduled for release on November 3, 2026.
What's included in the set
The theme is designed in a gloomy Halloween aesthetic: Charon is the carrier of souls from Greek mythology, and “crying” sets the mournful and afterlife mood of the visual. Legendary rarity means that the design affects not only the city itself, but also most of the interface:
- city theme with animated elements;
- player profile theme;
- interface design (UI theme);
- nameplate;
- topic and chat bubbles.
How to get it and when to expect it
Charon's Lament will be a reward from the Fountain of Dreams event, a cosmetic rotation that will launch as part of patch 1.1.13. The developers will reveal the exact conditions for receiving and the composition of the reward pool closer to the release of the update.
It is worth considering that the video was filmed on a test server: the final version of the city theme may differ in details. Update 1.1.13, as a reminder, will be released on November 3, 2026, along with Thanksgiving events and new weapon dedications.
