Halloween 2026 in Rise of Kingdoms: Holiday Events Return with Update 1.1.12
Halloween is coming back to Rise of Kingdoms with Update 1.1.12, Dreams of the Phantasm. The official announcement of the patch, published on September 16, 2026 on the game’s social networks, is made in a mystical style: an ominous castle, a red moon, ghosts and bats. The first video analyzes confirm that the Halloween 2026 event line-up will be one of the main contents of the patch, which is scheduled for release on September 22.
In past years, Rise of Kingdoms' Halloween activities centered around daily quests, collecting holiday items and themed rewards, and giving Governor's Towns a seasonal makeover. The developers will reveal the exact list of events in 2026 in the full patch notes on the official forum within the game and on the project’s Discord server.
How to prepare for holiday events
- Keep a supply of resources and boosters: holiday activities often include tasks for construction, research and troop training.
- Postpone spending gems until the start of the events - usually special sets and giveaways are opened along with the holiday.
- Update the client immediately after maintenance on September 22 so as not to miss the first days of events: rewards for logging in at the beginning of the holiday are traditionally the most valuable.
