LBZ in World of Tanks: how to complete tasks and get Object 260 (2026)

LBZ in World of Tanks: how to complete tasks and get Object 260 (2026)

Information is current as of August 2026.

Personal combat missions are the main “long-term project” of the World of Tanks: months of attempts, dozens of tasks for all classes of equipment and the final reward that they are proud of - Object 260. Topics “how did you complete the LT-15?” and “stuck on TT-15” have been collecting hundreds of comments for years. We analyzed the structure of all LBZ campaigns, collected tactics for passing and the main pain points of the players.

How LBZ campaigns work

Объект 260 мод. 1945 — тяжёлый танк 10 уровня

“Long-awaited reinforcements” - the first campaign, four operations with rewards of increasing value: StuG IV, T28 Concept, T-55A and the final Object 260 . Tasks are divided by vehicle class (LT, ST, TT, PT, SPG), and you can perform five tasks simultaneously - one per class. Operations are carried out sequentially: it is impossible to get to Object 260 without closing the previous three.

“Second Front” - tasks for national associations (Alliance, Bloc, Coalition, Union). Rewards: Excalibur, Chimera and Object 279 (p) - the legendary “winged” machine. Campaign feature: Excalibur has cumulative tasks (completed over any number of battles), Chimera - for one battle, and "Object 279 (r)" - for a series of battles with progress reset if unsuccessful. Campaigns can be run in parallel, which is what everyone uses.

“Sector 3” - tasks based on vehicle roles (assault, sniper, support) - for those who completed the first two campaigns and want to continue.

Tactics: how to do it more efficiently

  • Combine tasks. The main secret of a “quick” passage: choose five active tasks so that one battle counts against several at once. For example, tasks for damage + frags + victory are completed with one good fight.
  • Correct technique. For damage tasks - “bangs” and drums; for tanking - super-armored vehicles (T95 and similar); for reconnaissance - EBR 105 and T-100 LT; on the “series” - your most stable tanks in terms of win percentage.
  • Order forms. For tasks “with honors” they give forms that can be used to complete an impossible task. The community advises saving them exclusively for the final 15th tasks - that’s where they save weeks.
  • Components. Rewards from tasks can be disassembled into components and the missing ones can be purchased - this is how operations are closed where a couple of “cursed” tasks are missing.

Player pain: what they write in the comments

1. “Tag” is like a lottery. The final tasks (especially LT-15 and TT-15) are the main source of suffering: you need not only a skill, but also a suitable map, team and enemy setup. “Three hundred battles on the TT-15” is a common story. Veteran advice: don’t force it, play the desired class “in the background” - the task almost always falls by itself when you stop chasing it.

2. Art tasks. Tasks for self-propelled guns traditionally attract the most negativity: the class sank after rework, but the tasks remained. Practical conclusion from the discussions: go through them at low levels, where the art is still effective, or cover them with blanks.

3. Burnout. “I’ve been doing this for a year, I’m stuck on two tasks.” Here the community is unanimous: LBZ is a marathon, not a sprint; combine them with the regular game (events, ranks, leveling up branches), and the campaign will go by unnoticed.

Player reviews and comment analysis

The most liked stories are about unexpected closures: “I performed the LT-15 at heavy weight, I just stood on the hill and shone the whole battle,” “The TT-15 fell in a battle where I was only thinking about survival.” The main conclusions from hundreds of branches: first - Object 260 is really achievable for the average player, it’s only a matter of time and discipline; second , don’t chase “difference” in early tasks: forms are more expensive; third , the tank itself is worth it: the Object 260 is still one of the most enjoyable assault weapons in the game, and the T-55A and Chimera are excellent Tier 8 workhorses.
