Rise of Kingdoms — Radiant Rivalry Event: The Battle of the Kingdoms for the Radiant Spire (2026)
This information is current as of August 24, 2026.
The developers of Rise of Kingdoms have introduced a new global PvP event, Radiant Rivalry, which is now available as part of Update 1.1.10, “Starry Rendezvous.” This is the first competition in the game’s history where two neighboring kingdoms battle each other for control of the legendary structure—the Radiant Spire.
What is Radiant Rivalry?
The event is divided into two phases: the preparation phase and the combat phase. During the preparation phase, kingdom members complete special tasks to earn points. At the end of each day, the kingdom with the most points receives a one-point advantage.
After the preparatory phase ends, the winning kingdom gains the ability to teleport into enemy territory and attack the Radiant Spire. The losing kingdom must organize the defense of its sacred site.
Rewards and Mechanics
The event’s winners receive exclusive resources, boosters, and rare materials to upgrade their commanders. What makes Radiant Rivalry unique is that it’s not just the individual strength of the governors that matters, but also the alliance’s cohesion—without coordinated attacks and defenses, victory is impossible.
During the combat phase, both kingdoms battle on the losing kingdom’s territory, striving to seize control of the Radiant Spire. This creates a unique dynamic where the kingdom that lost the preparatory phase gains the advantage of the defending side.
How to prepare for the event?
- Save your boosters and resources before the event begins
- Coordinate your actions with your alliance via in-game chat
- Level up your main PvP commanders to the maximum level
- Prepare your troops for prolonged battles—stock up on healing boosters
Connection to Update 1.1.10
The Radiant Rivalry event was introduced with Update 1.1.10, “Starry Rendezvous,” which was released on July 30, 2026. In addition to the new PvP mode, the update added:

- The “Night of Sevens” event series in honor of the Qisi Festival
- Improvements to the Army Group system with a quick-join feature
- New optimizations for the “Pincers” formation (+12% to smite damage)
The event is available to selected new kingdoms in Pioneer Experience mode. A detailed schedule is available in the in-game event calendar.
