GTA 6: a month and a half left before release - new details about the world of Leonida
There is just over a month and a half left before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI - the game will be released on November 19, 2026 exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games continues to share new materials, and the fan community methodically dissects every published screenshot and gameplay footage.
Leonida's World
The action of GTA 6 takes place in the state of Leonidas - an analogue of Florida, in which the updated Vice City is located. The world includes six major regions, from the neon streets of Vice City to the Grassrivers swamps and the mountainous Mount Kalaga National Park. Fans estimate that 155 cars have already been confirmed on the map, ranging from classic muscle cars to super sports cars.
The main characters are Lucia Caminos and Jason Duvall . Their story revolves around a romantic relationship against the backdrop of criminal cases - from small robberies to large operations throughout the state.
Pre-orders and editions
GTA 6 pre-orders are open - three editions are available: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate. The Ultimate Edition includes exclusive cars, a yacht, a garage and access to private customization stores. The PC version has not been announced at launch.
Rockstar has carried out a massive marketing campaign, with over 80 official screenshots released in addition to two trailers and an extended gameplay reveal on Netflix. Each new material sparks a surge in discussion - from analysis of the physics of transport to theories about hidden Easter eggs in the landscape.
