GTA 6 — An in-depth gameplay presentation will take place on August 27 on Netflix
Rockstar Games has officially announced an extended presentation for Grand Theft Auto VI. The livestream, titled “An Extended Look,” will air exclusively on Netflix on August 27, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. Moscow time.
This is the first time Rockstar has held a presentation on a streaming platform. A recording will be available on the studio’s official YouTube channel and the GTA VI website six hours later—at 4:00 a.m. on August 28.
It is expected that the presentation will feature the first-ever live gameplay footage—until now, Rockstar has limited itself to two story trailers focused on cutscenes and characters. The new video is set to reveal gameplay mechanics, physics, AI, and visual effects in real time.
GTA VI is set in modern-day Vice City and the state of Leonida. The main characters are Jason and Lucia, who find themselves at the center of a massive criminal conspiracy. The game is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Pre-orders for the game are now open. The Standard Edition costs $80, and the Ultimate Edition costs $100. The physical version comes without a disc; the box contains a code for digital download.
