We Were Here Tomorrow will be released on October 20: asymmetrical co-op for two heads to Norček Industries

At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Total Mayhem Games confirmed the release date for We Were Here Tomorrow: the game will launch on October 20, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The series' biggest shift

We Were Here Tomorrow continues the formula of asymmetrical cooperative puzzles for two, where partners see different parts of the location and can only be selected through radio communication. The developers call the new part the biggest shift in the history of the series: each researcher now has his own set of abilities and high-tech tools, and some of the puzzles challenge gravity and the very concept of space.

The action moves to Norček Industries, a scientific complex in a retrofuturistic world inspired by the 1980s from the past. Two researchers must find out what happened to a missing research group while traveling to a synthwave soundtrack. Over the entire history of the We Were Here series, its players have already exceeded 25 million people.
