Toy Story 3 returns: remaster of Disney adventure will be released on October 15

The game based on the Disney and Pixar cartoon will return to PC and consoles: Toy Story 3: Complete Edition will be released on October 15, 2026 . The publication is being prepared by Atari Publishing House and Digital Eclipse Studio, which specializes in careful remasters of classics.

What's inside

Complete Edition is based on the 2010 adventure, following the plot of the full-length cartoon. In the story mode, the player controls Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, going through key scenes of the film, and in the “Toy Box” mode, a free sandbox opens in the surroundings of the Wild West: there you can complete tasks, drive vehicles and discover new locations.

Platforms and adjacent release

The game will be released on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The same date is scheduled for a neighboring project in the universe - the Toy Story: Retro Roundup! collection, which collects retro games based on the franchise. For the Complete Edition, adaptation to modern resolutions and stable frame rates is announced.

Digital Eclipse was previously responsible for the remasters of Prince of Persia, The Making of Karateka and Atari almanacs, so there is no need to worry about the quality of the restoration here.
