Total War: SHOGUN 2 - a remastered edition of the Creative Assembly classic will be released on October 13
On October 13, SEGA will release Total War: SHOGUN 2 - Complete Edition: an updated, expanded and completely complete edition of one of Creative Assembly's most respected strategy games. The remaster was developed by the MATABOO team.
What's included in the publication
Includes the original campaign and all additional content, including the Dawn of the Samurai and Decline of the Samurai campaigns. The graphics have been updated with improved lighting, shadows and textures, and the interface is scaled to 1440p and 4K resolutions. The controls have been modernized, the game has been translated to 64-bit systems, and the text and voice acting have been additionally localized into Japanese and Chinese. For those who want to experiment, there is built-in support for modifications via Mod.io, and the list of playable minor factions has been expanded by more than 50.
The Path to the Shogunate
The formula remains the same: step-by-step empire building on a map of feudal Japan and real-time tactical battles. The player makes alliances, weaves intrigues, builds castles and commands armies of samurai - from the rise of the first shogun to the death of the last samurai. The network component allows you to create a permanent commander, upgrade him in battles and discover new types of units.
