The Wolf Among Us Remastered will be released on October 29: Bigby Wolf's detective noir received a monochrome mode
At Gamescom 2026, Telltale studio revealed the release date of The Wolf Among Us Remastered - October 29, 2026. The updated edition will appear on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store); physical versions will be released by PM Studios.
What was added in the remaster
- Noir Mode is a completely monochrome version of the picture, paying tribute to the noir origins of the story;
- improved graphics and interface;
- technical edits;
- behind-the-scenes content about the making of the game.
The original The Wolf Among Us aired in episodes in 2013–2014 and was about Sheriff Bigby Wolf, a fairy-tale wolf investigating a brutal murder in the fairy-tale refugee quarter of Fabletown. The remaster will combine all five episodes into a single product and will be a convenient starting point before the sequel: The Wolf Among Us 2 is expected in 2027.
