SULFUR is released in version 1.0: a retro shooter with more than 60 types of weapons on PC and consoles

On October 28, 2026, Perfect Random studio released version 1.0 of its project SULFUR - exactly two years after the start of early access. The retro first-person shooter, combining old-school mechanics with a modern roglite approach, is now available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, as well as Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

What is SULFUR

SULFUR is positioned as "a modern, good old action-adventure game." The player explores dark dungeons, outsmarts enemies, collects treasures and constantly improves equipment. The key feature of the project is a deep weapon system: the game has more than 60 types of firearms, which can not only be customized, but also enchanted.

In Early Access, five biomes were available to players: caves, city, sewer, dungeon and castle. Over two years, the developers collected community feedback, honing the balance and expanding the content.

On Steam the game costs 990 rubles, in the USA - $24.99. The full release date was announced on October 8, 2026 as part of the Triple-i Initiative Fall Showcase.
