Star Wars Zero Company is out on PC and consoles - a release of tactics from XCOM veterans
On August 27, 2026, the long-awaited release of Star Wars Zero Company , a turn-based tactical strategy in the Star Wars universe, took place. The game was developed by Bit Reactor , a studio founded by Firaxis Games veterans who created the cult XCOM series.
Plot and setting
The action takes place in the waning days of the Clone Wars. The main character is a former Republic officer named Hawks , who leads the mercenary squad Zero Company. The team includes clones, Jedi, Mandalorians, droids and other representatives of the galaxy. Their mission is to stop the separatist organization Endless Spiral and prevent the spread of the deadly Shadow Plague.
Gameplay and features
Players will have to tactically control a squad in turn-based battles. Each fighter has unique abilities, and developing relationships between teammates opens up powerful combinations and synergies. Outside of battle, you can build a base, send scouts and plan operations on a galactic map of more than 150 planets.
The main campaign takes between 30 and 40 hours to complete. The developers abandoned romantic lines, focusing on team dynamics and plot twists.

Star Wars Zero Company is available on PC (Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S . The standard edition costs $50 on PC and $60 on consoles. The expanded edition is priced at $60 and $70, respectively.
