Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE released on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S - edition prices and what's inside
Netmarble has released Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S: the console version of the webtoon-inspired action RPG became available on November 3, 2026. The PC version was released in November 2025 through Steam and Microsoft Store - now hunters can go after shadows from the couch in front of the TV.
What is ARISE OVERDRIVE
This is a premium action RPG from Netmarble Neo without gacha mechanics: the player controls Song Jin-Woo and goes through his path from an E-rank hunter to the Monarch of Shadows. The plot retells the canon of the original source (the webtoon has more than 14 billion views worldwide) and adds original chapters written specifically for the game.
The combat system is built on combos, perfect dodges and counterattacks: an accurate parry opens the window for a strong response, and the skill tree branches into eight professions. Weapons are created and improved according to the Monster Hunter principle, and the proprietary mechanics of the Army of Shadows allow you to call defeated enemies to your side.
Cooperative and publications
- The campaign takes about 20-30 hours, and after the story there are raids and deep leveling.
- Four players can team up in co-op raids against Commanders, the game's main bosses.
- Standard Edition costs $39.99, Deluxe Edition costs $44.99 and includes an exclusive costume by Song Jin-Woo, a set of Cha Hae-In emojis, and a set of useful items.
The console release took place simultaneously on both platforms - at 16:00 Pacific Time on November 3 (0:00 UTC on November 4). The game pages are already available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store.
