Rise of Kingdoms Celebrates Its 8th Anniversary: Update 1.1.11 Was Released on August 27, 2026
Rise of Kingdoms has launched a major update 1.1.11 in honor of its 8th anniversary. Anniversary Special was released on August 27, 2026 and brought players many new events, rewards and gameplay improvements.
Main Anniversary Events
Update 1.1.11 features a full series of anniversary events:
- Art Festival — collect brushes and restore masks, getting rewards for progress
- Melon Market — returning event with cross-kingdom Egrimelon stealing
- Alliance Quiz — game knowledge quiz for alliance members
- Arms Training — battles with Armsmaster Lohar
- Riddles of the Sphinx — desert trials in Sphinx theme
- Desert Tracks — treasure caravan escort
- Circus of Wonders — festival activities with parrots
- Lucky Red Packet — social anniversary event
New Commanders
Version 1.1.11 also introduces two new legendary commanders:
- William Marshal — cavalry, conquering, combo attacks. Specializes in rallies and structure attacks
- Ivan IV — cavalry, versatility, combo attacks. Oriented toward open field combat
Gameplay Improvements
- New Attack March Command for precise control
- Double Line Formation (+10% march speed toward barbarians)
- Simplified Crystal Technology system
- Instant Return cost reduced from 200 to 80 gems
- KvK schedule changes for Warriors Unbound and Siege of Orléans
