Queen's Domain - retro fantasy action RPG launches October 30 on PC and consoles
Publisher Future Friends Games and studio Freshly Baked Games have announced the release date for Queen's Domain, a retro fantasy action RPG. The game will be released on October 30, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
The main character goes to the mysterious island of Nesid in search of his father, who disappeared there without a trace. Sinister forces converge on the island, and the journey itself turns into a test: exploration of the world is built around moving and overcoming obstacles, and the battles are described by the developers as brutal and demanding of precision.
Style and world
Queen's Domain is made in a retro style, but with a modern picture: dark fantasy, ancient ruins and dangerous creatures. According to the authors, the emphasis is on freedom of exploration - the island opens up gradually as you gain new abilities and equipment.
The project is positioned as a tribute to the classic action-RPGs of the late 90s - with a third-person view, an emphasis on survival and methodical progression through the plot.
