Persona 4 Revival at TGS 2026: playable demo and release February 18, 2027

At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Atlus presented Persona 4 Revival, a full-fledged remake of Persona 4 Golden. The main exposition of the SEGA and ATLUS stand is devoted to a playable demo: exhibition guests can try two fragments of 15 minutes each - the plot beginning of the story and exploration of the dungeon of Yukiko's castle.

All completed demos receive a set of gifts: a 300 ml bottle with the image of the protagonist, a case with the P4R logo and stickers with characters from Persona 4 Revival and Metaphor: ReFantazio. At the same time, the stand will feature the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Remake of the legendary JRPG

Persona 4 Revival remakes the 2008 original with modern graphics, an updated interface, and a combat system inspired by Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal. The plot is preserved: a new student moves to the quiet town of Inaba, where a series of mysterious murders are connected with a mysterious television program that opens the way to the world of Shadows. The events of the extended version of Golden, including Marie's storyline, were included in the main campaign.

The release is scheduled for February 18, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam and Windows). The game will be available to Game Pass subscribers from day one. A new team of actors has been brought in for the English localization: the role of Rise Kujikawa is played by Abby Trott, and the songs were recorded by new vocalist Shiori Sasaki with the participation of composer Ryota Kozuki.

Editions and pre-order

Pre-orders are now open: the Digital Standard Edition is priced at $69.99, Deluxe at $84.99, and Premium at $99.99, featuring costumes, personas, and music packs from Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal. The $249.99 Collector's Edition includes an artbook, a steelbook, a figurine of the protagonist and Izanagi, keychains, and keycaps.
