Order of the Sinking Star - a puzzle game from the creator of Braid and The Witness will be released on October 8

On October 8, Order of the Sinking Star, a new game by Jonathan Blow, the author of Braid and The Witness, will be released on PC. The publishers are Arc Games and Gamirror Games. This is a large-scale adventure built on puzzles: there are more than a thousand of them in the game, and each one is assembled by hand.

Four worlds - one mystery

The player is transported into a world of strange magic, dangerous mechanisms and ferocious monsters. There are four different worlds to explore - with their own mechanics, characters and stories. As you progress, worlds begin to collide: characters meet and puzzle systems intertwine, opening up unexpected gameplay possibilities. The exploration is non-linear - you can freely return to missed puzzles and complete them at your own pace.

Unusual Heroes

Playable characters include a queen, a thief, a warrior, a wizard and a talking boat. Each brings its own mechanics, and dozens of game systems are built up gradually: each new puzzle builds on the previous ones, rewarding curiosity and persistence. According to the studio, it will take hundreds of hours to complete the entire game.
