Monster Hunter Outlanders releases October 29 on iOS and Android
TiMi Studio Group, together with Capcom, has announced the release date for the mobile spin-off Monster Hunter Outlanders - the game will open on October 29, 2026 on iOS and Android. The project is distributed according to the free-to-play model, and the number of pre-registrations has already exceeded five million.
Outlanders takes hunters to the island of Eisoland, a large open world with multiple biomes, from wet jungles to snowy mountain ranges. According to the developers, the locations are designed taking into account the mobile format: forays are designed for short sessions, and the controls are adapted for touch screens with gamepad support.
What is known about the gameplay
- New monsters: the flagship of the island's inhabitants is the dragon Ruger Idal, a large flying beast whose attacks change depending on the weather and time of day.
- Co-op: Co-op forays support up to four hunters at a time.
- Progression: the classic “hunt - craft - hunt” loop is retained: equipment is forged from parts of defeated monsters.
- Synchronization: account progress is transferred between devices.
Capcom emphasizes that Outlanders is a standalone project that does not replace the main Monster Hunter line, but expands it for a mobile audience.
