Marvel's Wolverine has gone gold — it will be released on PS5 on September 15

Insomniac Games has officially announced that it has reached a major milestone in the development of the action game *Marvel's Wolverine*. The game has gone gold—the main part of development is complete, and the master disc containing the final version has been sent to be pressed and uploaded to digital stores.

This means that the September 15, 2026, release date will remain unchanged. The game will be released exclusively on PlayStation 5 and will be one of the console’s major exclusives this year.

In the story, Logan embarks on a dangerous journey around the world—from the Canadian wilderness to the island city of Madripoor and the streets of Tokyo—in search of answers about his dark past. The game promises a mature tone, realistic violence, and a “meaty” damage system.

Technically, Marvel’s Wolverine will run at 60 frames per second with ray tracing in performance mode. The developers have also confirmed that the golden claws shown in the short announcement trailer will be unlockable in the game itself.

This PS5 exclusive will be priced starting at $70 (about 7,000 rubles). In line with Sony’s strategy, a PC port is not planned.
