Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027
One of the most unexpected announcements from the September Nintendo Direct was a port of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II . The role-playing game from the Czech studio Warhorse Studios will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027 .
The version for the Nintendo console will be called the Royal Edition and will include the game along with all the released additions - so players will receive a "complete edition kit" right at launch.
How realistic is the port?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a massive open-world RPG, and bringing it to Switch 2 looks ambitious. However, Nintendo and Warhorse have already shown off the first footage of the game on the console, and it looks convincing: lighting, texture detail, and NPC density are preserved.
- Studio: Warhorse Studios
- Platform: Nintendo Switch 2
- Exit window: 2027
- Edition: Royal Edition (game + all DLC)
This is an important signal for Nintendo: large "adult" RPGs that were previously unattainable on the portable line of consoles continue to come to Switch 2.
