Kalanoro will be released on September 24: an adventure based on the folklore of Madagascar with lemur musicians

On September 24, 2026, Kalanoro , a colorful action platformer from Red Raketa Studio and publisher New Tales, will be released on PC and consoles. The game is inspired by the culture and folklore of Madagascar: the main characters here are cheeky lemurs, and the main villain is the evil witch Ranen.

Plot and gameplay

The action takes place on the island of Lemuria. The witch Ranen kidnapped the lemur musicians and cast her spell on their native island. The player will have to assemble a team of crazy lemurs, go on an exciting adventure and save the musicians - “song by song,” as the developers promise.

Kalanoro - in Madagascar folklore, forest spirits that look like little people. The game draws on local legends, retelling them in a cartoonish, friendly manner. Along the way, the player will find various levels based on Madagascar landscapes, bosses and, judging by the premise, quite a few musical numbers.

Red Raketa Studio is an independent studio focused on family adventures, published by New Tales. The release is planned for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
