Hunting Simulator 3 released on PC and consoles: hunting with a dog, SimFauna system and 35 species of animals
The Belgian studio NACON Studio Ghent and the publishing house NACON have released Hunting Simulator 3, the third part of the hunting simulator. The game is available from October 29, 2026 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The project is built on Unreal Engine 5. The main novelty is the SimFauna system: a dynamic ecosystem in which animals reproduce, grow and age, and their behavior changes depending on the player’s actions, so each hunt develops differently.
Colorado and Texas: two maps of 100 km²
The events take place in two open locations - in Colorado and Texas, each with an area of about 100 km². The game features more than 35 species of animals. You can take a hunting dog as your partner: you can choose from several breeds with different behavior, which changes the tactics of tracking prey.
Licensed equipment and transport
The arsenal includes almost 75 weapons and equipment from real manufacturers - Remington, Beretta, Winchester and Browning. You can move around the open spaces in five SUVs from the brands Ford, Kawasaki and Polaris.
Hunting Simulator 3 continues the series, which, according to NACON, has an audience of more than one million players.
