The Grinch 2: To the Rescue of Christmas releases September 18th on PC and consoles

Publisher Outright Games in partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises has announced that The Grinch 2: Saving Christmas will be released on September 18, 2026. The 3D platformer based on the famous Christmas story will be available on PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.

Plot and gameplay

The sequel takes players back to Chewyville and the surrounding area. This time, the most famous Christmas skeptic takes on an unexpected mission - to save the holiday. As the Grinch, you'll have to collect decorations, master gadgets, and solve holiday problems on spacious levels.

The developers promise dynamic platforming in the spirit of the first part, but with an expanded set of devices and secrets for exploration. As befits family projects from Outright Games, the game is aimed at an audience of all ages: the controls are simple, and the passage does not require familiarity with the original.
