Rise of Kingdoms Grand Prix: upper bracket - AQUA vs 93T, JST vs SBER and 62M1 vs 45Q
Grand Prix 2026 continues in Rise of Kingdoms - the main esports tournament of the year. After the opening round of double elimination, the competition moved to the upper bracket stage: recordings of the first round matches, in which the six strongest teams of the season competed, were released on the official YouTube channel of the game.
Upper Bracket First Round Pairs
- 62M1 vs 45Q - Chinese teams opened the program of matches on October 16.
- AQUA vs 93T - On October 18, AQUA and 1093 Tigers took to the field.
- JST vs SBER - Justice and Sober Squad played on the same day. Both teams had already made it through the opening round of double eliminations, with JST facing 35-D and SBER facing MING.
How the playoff bracket works
The 2026 Grand Prix is held using a double elimination system. The loser in the upper bracket does not leave the tournament, but goes down to the lower bracket, where the team has a second chance. A defeat in the lower bracket means the end of the performance. Therefore, every match in the upper bracket is a struggle not only for advancement, but also for the right to avoid a dangerous route through the lower branch, where the margin of safety is no longer restored.
Let us remind you that this season the 20 best teams that have passed the qualifications and the main draw are fighting for the title of the strongest team in the world. The lineups of participants were officially presented in mid-October, and the main draw matches started on October 11.
Recordings of the upper bracket matches appear on the official Rise of Kingdoms YouTube channel - you can follow the progress of the tournament in the same place where the rest of the Grand Prix matches are published.
