Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted are out on PS5
Sucker Punch and Sony Interactive Entertainment have released a major expansion for Ghost of Yōtei. The story expansion Echoes of Sekigahara and the battle mode Most Wanted are available on PlayStation 5 from October 1; At the same time, the Complete Edition was released with all the content and a free patch 2.0 for owners of the original.
What's inside Echoes of Sekigahara
The expansion takes place across two timelines. In the present, Atsu explores the new Ezo Valley, once inhabited by Snake and his Viper gang, and meets Nagato, a figure from his past. Flashbacks reveal the heroine's fate at the Battle of Sekigahara, a key event before the start of her path of revenge. Added new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets and dyes.
Most Wanted mode and the return of Jin Sakai
Most Wanted is being released separately, a single-player survival mode with roguelike elements. The player takes orders for Ezo's most dangerous criminals, fights off wave after wave and strengthens the build. Atsu, Oyuki and Nagato become playable, and the main surprise is Jin Sakai, the protagonist of Ghost of Tsushima: he is the fourth playable character of the mode with his stances, sticky bombs and half-side.
The Complete Edition is priced at $69.99, and owners of the base game can upgrade for $14.99. Patch 2.0, weighing in at around 30GB, adds armor transmog, Beauty of Yōtei contemplation mode, new tracks for Watanabe Mode, and accessibility options.
