Final Fantasy VII Revelation will receive two story DLCs - Sephiroth and Vincent
Square Enix has officially announced the development of two story DLC for Final Fantasy VII Revelation. Both chapters will expand the story of the game and reveal new details of the universe. The release of the add-ons is scheduled for 2026.
DLC Sephiroth
The first expansion will focus on the series' most iconic antagonist. Players will see events leading up to the main story of Revelation and learn more about Sephiroth's origins as a Product of Jenova. The add-on will add new locations, bosses and a combat system adapted to Sephiroth’s mechanics.
Vincent and the Trucks DLC
The second DLC focuses on Vincent Valentine, a mysterious former member of the Turks who first appeared in the original Final Fantasy VII. The addition will reveal his connection with the secret organization Trucks and his role in the confrontation with Shin-Ra. Players will be able to explore new underground complexes and participate in operations that will determine the fate of Midgar.
What is known about the timing
Both DLCs will be available separately and as part of the season pass. Square Enix has promised to share details about exact release dates and pricing in the coming months. The developers also hinted at the possibility of a free update that will add new costumes and weapons to the base game in honor of the launch of the add-ons.
