Fallout 76 received The Slasher update - animated trailer from Tokyo Game Show 2026

An animated trailer for Fallout 76's The Slasher update was shown during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 stream. The video features Vault Boy facing off against a sinister miniature Slasher impostor in a setting reminiscent of classic slasher films.

What's inside the update

The Slasher is now available to all Fallout 76 players for free and includes Season 26 of the game with a new story event, rewards and activities. The update applies to all platforms, including Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as PC.

At the same time, Microsoft dropped a teaser at the exhibition related to the future of the Fallout series. There are few details yet, but fans are already making theories about the next part of the franchise.
