Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition Is Now Available on Nintendo Switch 2 — What's Included in the Edition

FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have officially released *Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition* for the Nintendo Switch 2. The game launched on August 28, 2026, marking its debut on Nintendo consoles.

The edition includes not only the base game, which was named “Game of the Year” in 2022, but also the massive expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, released in June 2024. In addition, the developers have added exclusive content for Switch 2: four new types of armor, three appearance options for the phantom steed Torrent, and additional gestures.

The digital and physical versions are priced at $79.99 (about 8,000 rubles). The physical edition comes on a Game Key Card—the cartridge does not contain the game data itself but merely unlocks the download from the Nintendo eShop.

For owners of other platforms, the additional content is available separately as the Tarnished Pack DLC for about $5. It includes new character classes—the Heavy Knight and the Knight of Idus—as well as new weapons, armor, and skills.

The Switch 2 port runs at 30 frames per second—the 60 fps mode available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X is not implemented on the handheld console. The game was previously delayed for performance tweaks following criticism of the demo at Gamescom.
