Echo Weaver will be released on October 8: a metroidvania about a time loop
Studio Moonlight Kids and publisher Akupara Games have announced the release date for Echo Weaver , a Metroidvania where time itself becomes the main resource. The release will take place on October 8, 2026 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2.
The plot is tied to an unwinding cycle: the main character is the last of the Spinners, capable of using anomalies and rewinding events. Knowledge gained in one playthrough is retained between attempts - here information serves as the main reinforcement, and not swords and armor.
Game Features
- classic Metroidvania structure, where new skills open up previously closed areas;
- cycle anomaly system - each new attempt allows you to see the world differently;
- hand-painted graphics in a dark palette with bioluminescent accents.
