Control Resonant received update 1.40 with New Game++ mode
Remedy Entertainment has released update 1.40 for CONTROL Resonant, the sequel to the 2019 hit action game CONTROL. The patch is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
What's new
The main addition is the New Game++ mode, which allows you to go through the campaign again while maintaining your progress, abilities and equipment. The mode is designed for players who have completed the main story and want to explore the world of the game with a maximally leveled character.
The patch also includes many bug fixes : problems with the AI of enemies, crashes when loading certain locations, graphic artifacts and errors in the user interface have been fixed. Improved overall game stability on all platforms.
About CONTROL Resonant
CONTROL Resonant was released on September 24, 2026 and continues the story of Jesse Faden, Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, battling paranormal threats inside the Bureau's shifting headquarters. The game received high praise from critics for its visual style, combat system and atmosphere.
Update 1.40 is now available for download on all platforms. Remedy plans to support the game with additional content - details about future DLC will be revealed later.
