Chained Beasts releases October 15: gladiator roguelike on Game Pass
Featherweight Games has announced the release date for Chained Beasts , a co-op roguelike about gladiatorial combat. The game launches on October 15, 2026 on PC (Steam), and will be available on Game Pass from day one.
The main mechanics are literal: up to four players are chained and sent into the arena. You will have to move harmoniously, use the chain as a weapon and a tug, adapt to the mistakes of others and at the same time convince the bloodthirsty public to applaud your team.
What's inside
- mode for 1–4 players with co-op;
- random arenas, a crowd with its own opinion about each fight and in-game injuries - physical and moral;
- boss battles where survival can only be achieved through teamwork.
Featherweight Games previously released Golf Story and Sports Story for Nintendo Switch, so the studio's charming, hand-drawn visual style is the studio's calling card. The Chained Beasts page is live on Steam, and the demo allows you to gather your friends and try out the chains in advance.
