Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve – Two demo missions available at Tokyo Game Show 2026

Tokyo Game Show 2026 was the stage for one of the largest demonstrations of Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve. Bandai Namco organized game stations at the exhibition, where guests can play two full-fledged missions of the future game - from high-speed air battles to large operations against massive enemy forces.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios using Unreal Engine 5. The developers promise detailed clouds and skies, realistic aerodynamics and a plot related to the already released prequel novel, which is available on Amazon.

The game is scheduled for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. According to retail publications, the release could take place in early October 2026, but Bandai Namco has not yet officially confirmed the date.
