Ghost of Yōtei Walkthrough — All Six, Bounties and Collectibles (2026)

Прохождение Ghost of Yōtei — вся Шестёрка, баунти и коллекция (2026)

Ghost of Yōtei is the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch, a PlayStation 5 exclusive released on October 2, 2025. The protagonist is Atsu, an onryō — a vengeful ghost: years ago the Yōtei Six, six masked mercenaries, slaughtered her clan, and now she has returned to Ezo to kill every one of them. In this guide: the full revenge route, tactics for all six, the counter-weapon system, 31 bounties and 319 collectibles.

Ghost of Yōtei — Mount Yōtei and the regions of Ezo

Basics: combat and progression

  • The counter-weapon system is the heart of the game. Each of the five stiles has its prey: the katana is the universal answer to swordsmen; dual katanas break spearmen; the yari (spear) reaches sickle-wielders; the kusarigama disarms shield-bearers; the ōdachi is the heavy two-hander against armored enemies and large bosses. Most bosses have a "counter-weapon" — check the hint before the fight.
  • Parries and perfect dodges open windows for counterattacks; suppression tools interrupt wind-ups at range.
  • Ghost Stance unlocks through the story and grants a string of unblockable executions.
  • Charms are passive perks: from auto-parries to headshot bonuses. Mix them for your style.
  • Revenge cards open targets from the Six — the order of the hunts is free: choose who to hunt first.

The revenge route: all Six

After the prologue, three Act 1 branches open — they can be completed in any order, and the final duel with Lord Saito becomes available after them.

Prologue. The Snake

The first of the Six and your entrance exam: learn to read telegraphs, parry, and not get greedy. The prologue is linear — just finish the fight to open the open world.

The Oni — Ishikari Plain

The spear master's branch. Along the way: Mad Goro atop the waterfall (bite back with the ōdachi: close the distance after his bombs) and Kanta the Jailer at Ishikari Castle. The Oni himself waits inside the castle: keep mid-range with the spear, strike after his lunges, and watch for his summons in phase two.

The Kitsune — Teshio Ridge

The kusarigama master's branch. First Oyuki at the old grave, then Dojun deep inside the frozen waterfall — where the Kitsune herself hides. A poison-and-illusion fight: keep antidotes in your quick access, hit only what is real, and don't let the poison choke you out.

The Saito Brothers: The Spider & The Dragon — Ōshima Coast

Two bosses, one card. The Spider waits at Tamura Estate, The Dragon at Matsumae Castle: both are "specialists" in their stiles. Rewards: Ghost Stance and the Onryō heavy armor.

Atsu in combat — Ghost of Yōtei

Finale. Lord Saito

Atsu's whole story converges at her own home. Lord Saito masters all five stiles and, by player accounts, is one of the hardest bosses on Lethal difficulty: dual katanas with precise combo chains, stance changes mid-fight. Strategy: keep your distance during his strings, sidestep through the spinning attacks, and punish the recovery windows after heavy wind-ups. Don't be afraid to switch weapons mid-fight — dual katanas answer his katana, and the yari answers his spear lunges.

Bounties: 31 hunters

"Bounty hunters" are scattered across Ezo — unique minibosses with their own names and tricks. The most notable: Takezo the Unrivaled at the summit of Mount Yōtei (the game's biggest skill check, rewarding the twin blades "Gilded Dawn" and "Gilded Dusk"), Genzo the Crow at the Blue Flower Cemetery (switches weapons mid-fight), Yoshitomo the Smiler — a timing boss who brutally punishes greed — and The Nameless Assassin, the last and deadliest hunter in the Six's hidden camp. Every bounty grants coins, masks and unique gear.

Collectibles: 319 finds

Nothing is missable — after the story, free roam remains. Key types:

  • Sitturaynu Garments — the Traveller's Attire analog: complete the huchi quest in Nayoro Wilds to get the armor that guides you to finds with fireflies, and once upgraded — with a golden bird.
  • 8 shamisen songs — each reveals new activity types on the map: hot springs, Six camps, Ainu items, bamboo strikes, wolf dens, shrine climbs.
  • 30 Ainu items — traded to weaver Kaeki for garment upgrades.
  • 15 bamboo strikes, 13 shrine climbs, 16 hot springs — upgrade health and resolve.
  • 12 Nine-Tail puzzle boxes, 5 mountain reliquaries, 11 fox dens, 10 wolf dens, 18 sumi-e paintings, 61 altars of reflection, 20 pillars of the fallen, 22 Six camps, 8 zeni hajiki games, 6 dueling trees — the rest of the collection with trophies.
  • Gear: 12 armor sets, 5 melee weapons, 4 ranged and 5 quickfire tools — follow the golden bird and the guiding wind.

Tips for the whole playthrough

  • Swap weapons for the enemy — not advice, but the law of the game: a fight against your "prey" is several times easier.
  • Watch the golden bird — it leads to most collectibles even if you don't know they exist.
  • Take bounties as you go, not in a pile at the end: their rewards make the late fights much easier.
  • Enable the "gust of wind to objective" setting — the camera turns toward your map marker on its own.
  • Track collection progress in the menu "Growth → Activities" — counters for every type.
