Fallout 4 cheat codes: all console commands - caps, immortality, item IDs (August 2026)

Fallout 4 uses the same Bethesda engine as Skyrim, which means the same developer console with hundreds of commands. Immortality, endless caps, any weapon by ID, teleportation and settlement management - everything is available without mods on PC. This article contains a complete list of Fallout 4 cheat codes with the IDs of the most necessary items and secrets that will save hours of play.
How to enter codes
The console opens with the key~ (tilde, letter E)and it worksonly on PC— it is not available on PlayStation and Xbox. The case of letters is not important; leading zeros in ID can be omitted (0000000F = F). Many commands require a goal: click on an NPC, door or chest directly in the open console - the object ID will appear at the top. If you miss, spin the mouse wheel: it moves through the objects under the cursor.
Before experiments, save in a new slot: some teams irreversibly change the world or break quests.

Secrets and hidden features
- Chest with all resources.player.placeatme 1E7DC6 - A chest with 500 units of each building material will appear under your feet. And player.placeatme 1F8545 is a chest with all the legendary weapon variations (it generates them one at a time, the process is long).
- Limit on lids.One additem command cannot produce more than 65535 caps at a time - enter it several times or type it through the repeated call with the up arrow.
- No negative values.Unlike Skyrim, an additem with a minus in Fallout 4 crashes the game. To remove items use removeitem.
- Satellite warehouse.The additem commands also work on companions: select a companion in the console and give him junk - infinite carry weight is guaranteed.
- Search for any ID.help "keyword" 0-4 - will show codes of items, perks, NPCs and locations by name.
- Batch cheats.Save the commands to a text file in the game folder and execute the filename with the bat command at once - convenient for the starter kit: caps, master keys, components.
- Change of gender and appearance.sexchange changes the character's gender, and showlooksmenu player 1 opens a full appearance editor right in the middle of the game.
Will codes still work in 2026?
Yes. After a free update for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the game is back at the top, and the console commands for the PC version have not changed since the 2015 release.
